Abril es el mes del libro. En Cataluña también se acompaña la fiesta con rosas y gente en las calles. Es una celebración extraña, romántica, en la que se intenta motivar a la gente para que compre historias, ficción, nuevas vidas.
Sant Jordi, el 23 de abril, es un día especial. Siempre lo han intentado estropear, es cierto. Pero entre tanto márqueting, tanto discurso oficial, oficialista y oficioso, se esconde unas ganas irrefrenables de regalar el libro que a uno le gustaría que le compraran. El libro que explique tu otra vida, la posible, la potencial, la que hubieras querido tener agallas de comenzar.
Las páginas son eso. Sísifo es eso. Entre horas de oficina, metro, tren, clases, y monotonía tenemos que abrir una ventana, sin que nadie nos vea, a nuevas posibilidades.
